HOW DO I REGISTER FOR CAMP?
All campers must register online.
CAN I ATTEND CAMP FOR MORE THAN ONE SESSION?
Yes, you can attend as many camp sessions as you’d like.
THE SESSIONS THAT I WANT TO ATTEND IS FULL, IS A WAITLIST AVAILABLE?
Yes, we do create a waitlist, but there is no guarantee of placement in your preferred session.
WHAT IS THE BEST AIRPORT TO FLY INTO AND HOW DOES MY SON/DAUGHTER GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO CAMP?
The closest airport to our campus is the Tucson International Airport (TUS). Campers must make their own arrangements for ground transportation to and from camp.
HOW DO CAMPERS GET TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT TO CAMP?
Many campers use typical ground transportation by taking a short taxi ride from the airport to the University of Arizona. Parents are responsible for making their own ground arrangements.
CAN A CAMPER ARRIVE EARLY OR LATE? CAN A CAMPER LEAVE EARLY OR LATE?
Yes. However, the camper will be responsible for making his own arrangements with regards to transportation and lodging.
WHEN & WHERE DO WE CHECK-IN FOR Desert SWIM CAMP?
Campers will check in at the camp’s dormitory located on the University of Arizona campus.
WHERE DO CAMPERS STAY?
All campers will stay in the dormitories located on the University of Arizona campus.
CAN I REQUEST A ROOMMATE?
Registrants may request roommates when they complete their online registration. Roommate requests must match (i.e. be sure the person you request also requests you as a roommate). Roommate requests are not honored until full payment has been made and all required registration paperwork has been submitted.
Will there be medical staff on hand?
Full-time athletic trainers will be present at all training sessions. If medical assistance is needed, you will be responsible for any and all costs of treatment under your family insurance.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
To receive a refund the camp office must be notified at least 14 days before camp begins and will incur a $150 administrative fee. Cancellations occurring inside the two week period before the start of camp will incur a $250 administrative fee. Refunds are not issued for any swimming related injury and/or illness occurred during camp.
LOST DORM KEY FEE?
There is a $100 fee for lost dorm keys. This fee must be paid prior to camp checkout.
ARE LINENS PROVIDED?
No, each camper should bring their own linens, pillow, blankets, and towel.
HOW CAN I REACH A CAMPER DURING THE WEEK?
Participants are welcome to bring their own cell phones for communicating while at camp. Campers are responsible for their own personal property. During registration check-in, parents will be provided phone numbers for our onsite and on-call staff members.
HOW DO CAMPERS GET FROM LOCATION TO LOCATION?
Campers will walk from the Hillenbrand Aquatics Center to Bear Down Kitchen and to the dorms. They will be responsible for crossing two streets and will be accompanied by camp counselors and staff at all times.
ARE ALL THE CAMPS HELD ON THE UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA CAMPUS?
All camp sessions will be conducted at the University of Arizona.
